guess what? it's august! :)

Finally, my blogger people/friends it is August. Much too soon if you ask me, but I am glad for it. There are many things that happen in wintertime that can't happen in the summer like:
Back To School (which will finally be highschool for me!)
Thanksgiving
Christmas
My 15th birthday
And much, much more.
Today, while in the car on my way to the Charleston Mall I was making a list of pro's and con's about starting highschool. Here's some of them.
PROS
being older, and getting more independence.
having electives. (really hoping for my journalism class!)
it's not beverly hills.
having the option to drive to and from school.
not being around SKD.
CONS
getting out a hour later and going an hour earlier.
not being in mr.kerr's band class anymore.
it's not a small school.
being the youngest of the bunch.
not being around SKD.

I can't decide if I'm happy or sad about the whole SKD thing. I'm glad I'll be away from her, but at the same time I am sad. One of the favorite things in the world is seeing her and that will be hard.
But I got used to 8th grade and will evantually get used to 9th.
I'm really hoping I'm going to have some classes with Emi. I love having classes with her. But we didn't sign up for similar electives but that's okay I guess.
We'll still be tweeters in crime.

I'm nervous too--I always worry about a lot of things. Getting lost, missing the bus, being bullied, being jumped, and failing.
I hate to fail--unless it's gym. Then I don't mind too much. But these last four years are really gonna count for me to ever get to California and live my dream as a journalist. They'll have higher expectations out there and especially for a east coast girl.

Oh, what a long wait. But I'm glad it's almost over.
